Terrestrial Connections to Telecommunication Operators

TTcomm ensures not only satellite segment but also reliable connection to terrestrial infrastructure. The Teleport is connected to terrestrial operators via:

  • Four  independent fiber optic cables
  • Microwave link
  • Copper wires
TTcomm teleport has two independent FO connections to Internet with BGP protocol implemented.

Power supply

TTcomm has two independent power line connections from different suppliers. Eachconnection is 200 kVA (3x 400VAC) of the electrical power.
Additionally, the Teleport has three electrical generators (two with 200 kVA and one 40 kVA of the power)  to ensure power supply if some breaks in main lines occur. Generators are controlled by  ATS units and  automatically activated when main power supply is down.
TTcomm teleport is equipped with UPS system to avoid any outages of the system caused by power supply.  UPS maintain power supply to all important indoor equipment (baseband, servers, network infrastructure etc.) and outdoor equipment  (RF equipment including HPAa, down- and up- converters etc.)

Data Center

TTcomm manages its Data Center via a group of experienced  telecommunication and IT engineers. It supplies collocation and hosting services. There is approx. 200 square meters available for customer’s equipment in air-conditioned rooms with access for authorized personnel only.
